COUNSELLING SERVICES OF BELLEVILLE AND DISTRICT
Counselling Services of Belleville and District is a non-profic community based resource agency responding to the need for assessment, counselling, advocacy and support.  We strive to enhance the effectiveness and well-being of persons of all ages, families and the community.

HASTINGS AND PRINCE EDWARD DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD SPECIAL ED SERVICES
Special Education Services within our local school system, supporting student achievement.

RESPITE AND ATTENDANT CARE - PLAINFIELD COMMUNITY HOMES
Plainfield Community Homes offer an out of home respite and leisure /recreation program.

PRINCE EDWARD CHILD CARE SERVICES
Provides quality early learning and child care for families through a variety of programs in Prince Edward County.

SAILABILITY
The programuses pecially designed sailboats, which are virtually un-tippable for persons with disabilities.

CHALLENGER BASEBALL
An adaptive  baseball league for kids from 5-19 yrs old with neurological or physical disabilities.  Each player is matched with a "buddy volunteer".  The seaons runs from June to August on Tuesday evenings.

PARALYMPICS ONTARIO
Paralympics Ontario is a non-profit,multi sport organizaton established in 1981 to deliver programs and provide competitive opportunities for atheletes witha physical disability.  As a provincial partner of the Canadian Paralympic Committee, our common goal is to develop and promote the Paralympic Movement from the grassroots through to the international podium.

CEREBRAL PALSY - ONTARIO FEDERATION FOR CEREBRAL PALSY
OFCP is a non-profit charitable organization of member groups with a mandate to address the changing needs of people in Ontario with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities, recognizing the inherent dignity and rights of all individuals.  You will find their programs and services outlined, a service information database, upcoming conferences and publications.

MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY CANADA
Information on current research services, peer suport for persons with neuromuscular disorders.

SPINA BIFIDA AND HYDROCEPHALUS ASSOCIATION
Information and support for families with children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

The Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit serves the County of Prince Edward, Hastings County, Quinte West, and Belleville, Ontario from offices in
Trenton, Picton, Madoc, Bancroft and Belleville.
Our Health Unit provides dozens of programs and services, along with reliable health information to a population of approximately 150,000 people in our
7,000 square km catchment area.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country.

Discussions dedicated to sharing and discovering solutions for educating children with disabilities in general education classes.  How to use technology, adaptions and modifications to make general education classrooms accessible to all children.

ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF CHILDREN'S REHABILITATION SERVICES (OACRS)
OACRS promotes a province wide, coordinated, community based service system for children and youth with special needs and their families.  You will find a list of 19 provincial members organizations, current issues and news bulletins.

QUINTE HEALTH CARE
Quinte Health Care (QHC) is one hospital with four sites: QHC Belleville General, QHC North Hastings, QHC Prince Edward County Memorial and QHC Trenton Memorial. Our 1600 dedicated staff members, along with the 280 doctors who have privileges, provide primary and secondary care to a diverse area made up of the Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, and the southeast portion of Northumberland County. Through partnership and innovation, the four hospitals of QHC provide quality health care as close to home as possible.
