Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Program
The FASD program provides child/youth and family centred support to children and youth with FASD or suspected FASD, while also providing education and awareness within the community.
The FASD program supports the inclusion and stability of children and youth with FASD in family, school and community life.
Please note: this is not a diagnostic services.
Eligiblity: children/youth birth to18 or until they leave high school living in Hastings/Prince Edward or Northumberland Counties with a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of FASD
FASD Coordinator role:
- Deliver child/youth and family-centered service by leading the development of a strengths-based support plan.
- Work with family, service providers and educators to build capacity through education to support the child/youth.
- Connect children/youth, their families, and service providers to interventions and supports.
