What do occupational therapists do?
♦ assess, treat and consult concerning a child's performance in everyday activities;
• eating
• dressing
• moving
• playing
• attending daycare/school
♦ address the skills needed (e.g. fine motor, perceptual, sensory)
♦ provide equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, bath seats)
♦ help caregivers modify tasks or the environment to increase the child's participation
